Air brakes - defunct bus anne 6-25-06
Hello. I have a 76 bluebird bus with air brakes. It's been sitting for a very long time (about 5 years)and I'd written it off for dead...but now someone wants to haul it off, park it and live in it. Trouble is we can't release the brakes to move it. I have access to an air compressor. Does anyone know how to get some air in the lines so we can release the brakes? Thanks

If you are towing with a unit that can stop it use the cage bolts on the pots to back off the brakes. Any trucker worth his salt can do it for you, I recomend the fellow hauling it away.
