MY 98 DODGE CARAVAN CONTINUES TO GET AIR IN THE REAR LINES NO MATTER HOW OFTEN THEY ARE BLEED. I HAVE TAKEN IT TO 3 GARAGES AND NONE OF THEM CAN FIGURE IT OUT. THEY HAVE REPLACED MASTER CYLINDER, BRAKE SHOES, WHEEL CYLINDER, BRAKE HARDWARE FOR REAR, A COUPLE OF LINES, PADS, AND ROTORS.NO BRAKE LIGHT COMES ON EITHER TO INDICATE A PROBLEM. THE VECHILE SEEMS TO HOLD PREASURE IN LINES FOR A DAY OR TWO AND THEN IT SITS OVER NIGHT AND LOSES PEDAL BY MORNING THEY HAVE EVEN USED THE DRBII SCAN TOOL ON IT AS THE REPAIR MANUAL SAYS TO DO. IF ANY ONE HAS ANY SUGGESTIONS PLEASE HELP
Hi Jenny, Have they completely purged the lines of old brake fluid? I had a friend some years ago with a similar problem and they found some moisture had gotten into they system and was apparently vaporizing when the brakes got hot. Rich
I'm currently going thru same problem. Just removed a distribution block(next to gas tank), there was a couple drops of fluid on it after setting for awhile. googled to get help myself.
