P-30 hydro booster David 5-16-05
Lost fluid in system at the pr sw on the power steering line. Replaced the sw and filled with oil. Never got the emergency brake to unlock. Disconnected the linkage so I could tow the RV.(92 pace arrow with hydro boost system).
replaced the power steering pump and the master cylinder. Ran the engine and purged out the air in the steering system and when I put the rv in gear, the power steering quit and the brake was making a loud chattering noise just like a pump with air in it.

Hey David,
I had the same problem and couldn't get the air out of the system.
You can try this, it worked for me.
If you have levelers just put the front ones down and lift the unit up to take the weight off the front end. If not use a floor jack.
Start the unit, put the unit in neutral and release the emergency parking brake. Keep your foot on the units regular brake while doing this.
Turn off the engin and turn the steering wheel from left to right between 30 to 40 times.
This was a tip given to me by a mechanic who I know. So far it's been fine. Hope this helps. Mike
