I am trying to install a brakesmart controller in a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer with the factory tow package and V8 engine. I can't find the plug under the dash to connect the harness. This vehicle does not place the fuse panel under the dash like other vehicles. It has one under the hood and one under the rear seat. Has anyone done this before?
On my 2002 Trailblazer there isn't a "connector" as such. If you pull the lower dash panel (under the steering wheel) there should be 4 wires taped to a wiring harness on the left side. If you release the packet of wires there is a diagram of each connector and how to connect them to a trailer brake.
