P30 brake pedal staying down by Bob
Post New Message Hi. Ive got a 1986 southwind 24 ft motorhome with a 454 Hydro-boost brake system. The other day when I drove it, I noticed that the brake pedal was staying in the down position, and slightly applying the brakes.(I could feel the slight drag) I can manually put my foot under the pedal and bring it back up and it seems fine, but stays down the next time its pressed. The brakes have always felt fine, and for this to happen all of a sudden, not gradually seems strange. Im thinking booster, because the PS pump is providing pressure for the power steering and the brake pressure. What am I missing? possibly just a vac hose? any help is appreciated....
