1990 Southwind on Oshkosh chassis. Spring activated automatic parking brake around the drive shaft.
Problem started after replacing a broken hydrolic hose to parking brake. There is a strong pump pulse that causes the hydrolic lines to the parking brake release unit to thump strongly when transmission is in drive, netural or reverse. No pulse when in Park.
Have replaced hydrolic pump and tried several times to bleed parking brake at a fitting on top of the parking brake release unit. It acts like there is air in the system or maybe an accumulator has lost is charge but I have not been able to find an external accumulator.
Could use suggestions on bleeding system or how to recharge the accumulator if it has one. Thanks!
