How do you replace the third brake light on a honda civic ex coupe, I don't know how to get the cover off where the bulbs are

Hondas have 2 ways to attach the cover for the third brake light: the cover either has plastic trim plugs holind it in place or covering the screws that hold it in place. The latter is much more common.

Look at the brakelight cover: you should see caps that pry open. Once you getthem open, you'll see the screws underneath. Remove the screws and the cover comes right off.

Hope that helps!

Youll remove it by opening the trunk and take out the two screws then just remove the light bulb and put the new one back on
