|GeorgieBoy 28 ft rear right brake stuck after hitting curb||JD||4-26-17|
|I have an 1989 28 ft chevy chassis 454 Georgie Boy and driving it through town my passenger rear bumped up on a roundabout curb. Within 2 miles the right rear brake locked up--completely seized. Had to bleed the line and limp to local auto mechanic 1/2 mile away. I am reading forums that recommend replacing brakelines? I'm wondering if the jolt could have crimped an old line? Or was it just a coincidence? At first look, the mechanic believes sediment-layden fluid and master cylinder were culprit.|

|All three ideas are valid.|
These chassis have very common trouble with collapsing flexible rubber lines causing this symptom. You can pump the fluid through but wont let it return.
But a seized brake cylinder or master cylinder could happen as well.
Either way big repair bill.
