Brake lines 2001 Dutchman by John Dirks
Post New Message I'm helping a friend do maintenance on his RV. It's a 2001 Dutchman on a Chevy 3500 Express chassis. 30k miles.

We may need to replace some portions of rusty brake lines. My question is about the bleeding process after changing the lines. I see the hydraulic booster near the master cylinder. Also, there is another mechanism mounted on the frame in the area under the drivers seat. What is this part called, what does it do and how will it affect the bleeding process?

Thanks in advance for you help. I can get more information about the RV if needed.
