Brake issues Michael 11-29-15
I have recently aquired a 1995 Georgie Boy Swinger motor home with the 454 in it. The brakes work but when I let off of the pedal it does not return fully. I have to pull it up with my foot te remaining 1" - 1 1/2". What could be the possible cause?

The return spring is weak.

It is normally wrapped arround the pivot point for the pedal under the dash.

Depending how the linkafge is routed and everything is mounted rigging up an additional spring is usually easier that replacing the original.

Good Luck

Have 92 southwind have good power streering. but no power brakes, parking brake release is fine, no noise from anywhere done pedal test, pumped brakes engine off then started engine pedal does not drop or push back. suspect hydroboost needs replacing fluid is clean pump has a lot of pressure. hydroboost unit is bendix [no longer in production] what can i replace it with? retired mechanic for 35 years, never worked on anything with hydroboost. also retired as auto trans builder, i like my 4L80E. thank you....
