Generator jenay 3-7-14
I recenty got a 19 71 dodge motorhome. I have not been able to start the generator. I am also in needing to replace the brakes. The brakes don't grind or sqeek they are hard to press and barely stop the motorhome.
Re: generator BUBBA THE BUS TECH 3-7-14
If you have a class A motor home of this vintage there is a device called a Hydro-Boost bolted to the frame, just in front of or just behind the front left wheel.

It is the Power Brake on your motor home. You need to insure that there is a good supply of Engine Vacume to this. It is common for the pipes to rust out and get disconected to make the engine Idle.

As to the Generator, fuel gets old and clogs the carb, Make sure you have fuel to the Generator, Check for spark, Clean the Carb.

Good Luck
