1989 Mallard Overland Converter Earl 9-25-13
I have a 1989 Mallard Overland, the converter went out and the RV place that we took it to said that they can't replace it.

I think what they have in it is a Energenics.

Does anyone know anything about this?
Re: 1989 Mallard Overland Converter BUBBA THE BUS TECH 9-26-13
1st: A converter can be a small silver box to a complex power centre and inverter system.

2nd: They probably can't get the original

3rd: Often on mallard product the converter is mounted in "a Non-Servicible Location" if so it requires additional time to re-wire and find a spot to mount it.

4th: You converter is obsolite and the manufacturer has been out of business since the mid 1990's

So no they can not replace your curerent converter with the same one.

Last: you need to go see a DIFERENT repair shop, get a quote and ask them to explain what it will take in time and $'s

The one you were dealing with "Blew You Off" because they didn't want to do the job.

Good Luck
