|Hello anyone. im having trouble with my p30 chassis rv with chevrolet 7.4 v8 gas engine. just returned to england from spain and had a bad trip with misfiring and burned three plug leads off. i had spares with me so i limped home?? what is my problem ?? i only use the best petrol.|

First do not gap your plugs to the 60 thousands specification. 45 is lots, 35 is probably better.
Next burnt off sugests they may be laying on the exauhst manifolds.
Finanlly wire failure due to fatuige from movement is common they need to be secured.

|Yes, had this problem with my 7.4 P30 serveral times. Carried spared igntiion harness on board to fix on the road. |
Finally wrapped the back right plug wires with heat wrap cloth like used on exhaust headers and problem solved; no more burnt wires.
