I'am having the save problem at present. The brakes have been totally
rebuilt and I still had problems. The brake fluid was changed to dot 4,still
burned the brakes up.
I have had a exhaust leak,a small
tick but couldn't fine it. It seams that my brake problems started about the time my exhaust leck apeared. So I took another look at my left side exhaust manifold, the master cylinder is about 4 inches away and the front brake line comes within an inch and ahalf of the manifold.I believe that the position of the brake lines along with the exhaust leak caused the locking of the front calipers.
I have bent the brake lines down and away from the manifold and have placed a shield between the lines andthe manifold. As soon as I get the manifold plained and back on we'llsee if it works.
I'am also thinking about installing
some from of duct work to add some cooling to this aria of the engine.
Good luck and let me know how you make out.
