P30 Brakes Dave 8-28-10  
I've just done everything to the brakes. New calipers,pads,turned rotors,wheel cylinders, hardware, wagner shoes (drums on dual rears)new lines from pumkin split to rears. I've got the right side caliper hanging up. It doesn't want to release, heats up and stinks. What do i do next?

Replace the Rubber flex line from the frame to the caliper---
thay are Known to collapse.

Thanks Rich. It's a start. Since I first wrote I drove it a little more and have come to the conclusion that Iam getting very little rear brake action as well. I am begining to think that the combination valve has pooped the bed.

Look at the combo valve---your bleeding might have pushed it off center too-some have a rubber boot-- push it back to center,is your brake (light on)?

I hope this makes sense to someone.I have a 1960 Allegro motor home I obtained. There is a cinnister mounted in the outside firewall next to the radiator.I think it is for power steering fluid that is used for the braking system. It is empty. Any advice? Thanks a million.

Is the shoe with the thicker lining the leading shoe?

Did you replace the master cylinder? these will tend to rust on the inside and make pits. when you apply the brakes the master cylinder wont release and cause the brakes to drag. Dont be fooled,just because the brake pedal comes back to the top does not mean the brake cylinder returned to the top position. remove and disassemble and inspect.
