|Auto Park and emergency brake not holding.||Robert||4-29-10|
|I have a 1997 Southwind on a 1996 Chevy chassis. My auto park and emergency brake is not holding. I'd like to adjust my emergency brake cable to make sure it is not an adjustment problem. I would appreciate any info. Also, are there any shop manuals covering this brake system?|

|The parking brake is located at the back of the transmission. You will need to pull the drum off. There is a star wheel adjuster just like a car rear brakes. Adjust it out as needed.|
Make sure wheels are chocked before you start. Medium mechanical skills are helpful to do this procedure. Good luck.
