P30 Hydroboost &manual park PS/PB Win 2-20-10
I have hundreds of forum messages, but I have yet to find a clear answer. Problem: 1994 chevy P30 Vectra.
Whine in Powersteering pump. Hard brakes,Fluid comes out reservior. NO power steering assist.
Raised frnt end per manual tried to bleed air out. fluid is replaced and whine disapates but symptoms come back. The manual parking brake does not work now and I believe its stretched or something else is preventing its ability to work. It is adjusted as tight as possible no more adjustment. Fluid comes out reservior every time coach is shut off. I have bleed the reservior on the pump which is attached to the actuator, only fluid comes out. any suggestions helpful. Also the Cam actuator switch soloniod heats up too hot on the steering column. ? I DO NOT have the park assist electric pump on my coach.
Any prior experience for help will be greatly appreciated!

The cable from the actuator to the park brake is streched and needs to be adjusted. When it is out of adjustment it makes the actuator pull so much fluid from the reservoir that the steering pump pulls air into the system. After adjusting the park brake cable to actuator bleed air out of system. It worked on my 92 winnebago.
