Booster pump tom Gillum 9-20-09
I have a 1988 Super Chief on the JD Chassie..I have a leak in the braje system. It seems the booster pump is leaking out of the seal behind the pump..anyone have ANY idea how I get that pump out?? and where I can get the kit to rebuild it OR a new pump?? THANKS

That booster pump and master cylinder is usually sold as a unit but I know that I had my hydro boost pump replaced separately last summer. The parts are available from Ford but you need to get the old one out so that you can get the part number. If you have a John Deere parts manual for your MH you should be able to get the number from that. I think it took the service folks a few hours to get it out since it is in a tough spot to get to.
