Pulling into my driveway the auto park brake locked up when I put the brakes. I immediately assumed I had to replace the switches again, as they go bad quite frequently. While replacing the switches I noticed oil dripping from the actuator… called around and was told I needed to replace the auto park brake actuator. I was told at the dealer that when the actuator has a leak the system will lock up as it doesn’t hold pressure to disengage the auto park brake. If you are experiencing the same situation you may want to take a close inspection of the actuator also check to make sure the hydraulic oil reservoir it full. I’m glad to have found this posting, I emailed Jose Crespo at p30actuator@aol.com and he rebuilt my actuator last week. AWESOME SERVICE AND PRICE! The minute I installed it the auto park brake began to work immediately. I highly recommend this guy!
