Auto park brake David Fox 5-29-09
I have a 96 Bounder. Chevy frame.
My auto park light stays on but everything works fine. I took it to GMC garage because I know nothing about the auto park and they new very little. 6 hours and $160 later they told me they thought someone was doing some wiring. There is a green wire from the green pressure switch to another switch then light they cut this and everything seemed to work fine. Well when I got it home put it in park and it would not release the brake again. The green pressure switch had leaked all the fluid out and it would not release the brake.I took the green switch off where can I get another switch #15961566 and a wiring diagram? Would this switch have caused the auto park light to stay on if it was going bad?

Re: auto park brake mark cornell 6-29-11
I have a 2003 condor motor home made by r-vision. It has a workehorse chasie. I've have had some problems with the auto park systems but seemed to have the actuation working fine. My problem is the brake is not holding.I have it torn down and it apears that the shoes are a little worn. I tryed to adjust the
shoe expander there is no adjustment.
My cables are bottomed out so I guess the only thing left is to change the shoes. Is there a stsndard shoe I can buy at a local auto parts store.
