P30 Park / Emergency Brake Mike Whiteman 5-17-09
I have a 1990 Bounder on a P30 GM chassis since I purchaced it 3 years ago i have had problems with the parking brake setting up at low speed while turning tightly like into a parking spot. I am wondering if any one out there has changed one of these over to a manual park brake system using a pull up type hand brake with a cable down to the driveshaft brake unit. I thought you could use a E-brake handle from a delivery type van and mount it under the dash on the left side and then run cable's down to the brake assy. Has anyont tried this or is this just a dumb idea.

First off keep your power steering system full.--it's the same system on your RV-
yes, they can be put back to the older type brake handle.Check with GM dealer---the brake system is under (forward control)have your vin with you.
there a couple web sites that have access to the parts,
I don't have them saved-(Mill supply) might be able to help you some--

Re: P30 Park / Emergency Brake luis avalo 1-15-10
I recently bought an1993 winnebago adventurer with a P30 chassis. Later found the power steering and brakes work together [hydro booster] and some parts are missing. apparently there is an engage mechanism to join the foot emergency brake with the actuator cable. Need to know if someone can help me to fix it and find parts. I am willing to pay for such services. I need to fix this problem asap to start enjoing my RV since everything else is running good. Plssss help
