1980 P30 Brake Failure Norm 7-5-08
My original problem was like many others here on the board. My front left wheel would lock up after hard braking.

I purchased new flex brake lines for the front and preped for the install. Unfortunately when I started the RV to to pull into onto the carport the pedal went straight to the floor. I checked the master cylinder and the fron(large reservoir) was empty. So I topped it of and still no resistance on the pedal.

I went ahead and replaced the lines but still have nothing on the pedal. Is this a MC issue. I was going to bleed the brakes but it feels like its not pumping at all.

Could this be a bad MC????

Update:
After using a few choice 4 letter words I finally got the master cylinder removed. It appeared to have a minor leak on the side connected to the hydro boost.

I put the MC on my work bench and cyled it with a screwdriver and only one of the reservoirs shot fluid out. Bad MC verified on bench test also.

After a short trip to autozone for an $18 dollar purchase I began the install. Few more 4 letter words and it was in.

After bleading down the brakes the pedal imediately firmed up. Road test was better thanexpected.
