BRAKE PROBLEM 1988 HOLIDAY RAMBLER Terry Smith 5-23-08
Hi, having problems with my 1988 Holiday Rambler's Brakes. Its 34foot Monitor on Chev base, running a 454 motor. The vehicle has been convert from left to right drive (vehicle Australia), I believe the brakes have been modified incorrectly - can any email a diagram of how the brakes should be work or layout?
The brake system runs both from the power steering pump & the cabbie vacumn booster.

Why do you figure you have a problem? Giving some more back ground would help us track it down for you. Thanks

Had the booster & rear actuator(?) was rebuilt (was not connected when I purchased when the vehicle purchased, brakes were rubbish)!
Now when the rear brakes are bleed - air bubbles are present! Seems there is a problem the plumbing or valving at the actuator(?).
My problem is that is type of braking system is very rare in Australia & nobody has seen a system like it or knows anything about it.
Would be very grateful if anyone could either send through instructions or layout of the system.
thanks

I don't have very good braking power on the RV. I looked in the owners manual and there is not a section on brakes. How do I check the fluid? Are the brakes electric and does the house battery have anything to do with it?
