P30 Handbrake Problem by Barry Sales
Post New Message I have 91 Winnebago Cheiftain on a P30 chassis,it has the 7.4 litre chevvy gas engine. The thread has stripped from what i think is the handbrake release valve.I lost all fluid and the power steering and brake boost went aswell. It has since been repaired,(no leaks),but i now get a loud buzzing, humming noise when i depress the brake pedal, also after a few miles the steering goes stiff and on full lock the brake warning light comes on and the brakes lock.Could someone please tell me if i am describing the right part, and where i might locate a new one,the valve is seated just under the drivers side footwell,it has three lines, one i think is the inlet and two outlets.the problem i have is i live in Alicante in Spain and chevvy parts are non existent here im afraid,i would be very grateful if if i could be directed to a supplier stateside who could ship a new one to Spain for me.
Thanks
Barry.
