Am having the same problem with a 1992 southwind on a P30 frame. I am being told that there is a power assist valve that is probably sticking. I don't know yet if it can be repaired or if it has to be replaced. Apparently when you apply the brakes the valve sticks and will not allow the fluid to flow back to the reservoir fast enough to release the brakes. Over a period of time this pressure bleeds off and the brakes will release until you apply them again. Hope this helps and if anyone knows if this valve can be rebuilt or not please let me know. |
