Engine quitting by Bob
Post New Message I have a 2001 Safari Trek on a P32 Workhorse chassie with a 7.4 liter and a 4L80E transmission. The engine will just quit as I am driving down the highway on a random basis. Lots of parts have been replaced (fuel & air filters, ignition switch, fuel pump, mass air flow sensor) and the problem keeps occuring. I have always been driving for 100+ miles before the problem occurs. Some times it will start right up and run the rest of the day, other times it keeps quitting after running about as long as it was shut down. Could this be a faulty computer problem?
