Post New Message 1996 CHEV 6.5 DIESEL 4X4 140000 MILES 4L80E TRANNY. WHILE ON A TRIP NO LOAD,NO TOW......... AFTER ABOUT 5 HOURS OF DRIVING @ 70MPH ENGINE BEGAN REVVING....... STOPPED CHECKED FLUID IT WAS GOOD...... ADVISED IT MIGHT BE SENSORS.....CHANGED THEM...SAME PROBLEM...... GM PARTS MAN SAYS LIKELY IS A BROKEN SPRAG HOUSEING OR SOMETHING LIKE THAT INTERNAL..... ANY IDEAS
