Post New Message The "E" transmissions change quite rapidly and this trans may by a direct bolt in but the wiring may not due to possible changes. Need to check with a wrecker that is willing to look this up in his will fit cross refrence. A big block trans may have minor difrences such as lower stall converter etc. As to upgrades, I belive a "shift kit" Or " Reprogram kit" can help get the trany to survive. Unless you are racing going to any more agressive than stage 1 or mild is a waste. Good Luck.
