I had a 92 PU that would shift out of OD into third and not shift back. There is an input shaft speed sensor and an output shaft speed sensor that measures slippage, and if too much, then it "saves" the tranny by selecting a lower gear. Since you've had the tranny redone, it might be they didn't change those two sensors and one is breaking down, wiring continuity to the sensors is bad, or failure of a new part. The Tranny in the motorhome I asked about here was fine--COIL breakdown caused a "jerk" under load!!!LOL! Good luck!! |
