1994 G30 VAN 6.5L DIESEL SETS DTC 68 IN 4TH, IF DRIVEN IN 3RD WILL SET DTC 39. HAS JUST BEEN REBUILT WITH NEW CONVERTER, ALL SOLENOIDS,EPC TCC AND SHIFT ARE NEW. SLIP RATE AT 55MPH WHEN 99% DUTY CYCLE VARYING BETWEEN 5 AND 400 RPM, THEN IT CODES OUT. NOTICE ENGINE RPM READING ERRATIC AT IDLE AND 55MPH ON SCANNER (READING ONLY), ENGINE NOT SURGING. IS THE RPM SURGE MAKING TCM BELIEVE CONVERTER IS SLIPPING?? ENGINE RPM SENSOR WAS REPLACED IN REAR OF ENGINE.(WHERE DISTRIBUTER WOULD GO IF IT WERE GAS ENGINE) STILL HAS ALL THE SAME
Dan, I have a 1996 Plymouth Voyager 3.0L. The transmission was rebuilt about 1000 miles ago. The check engine light came on and the fault ENG: 37 / P0743 TCC solenoid Circuit. It has a brand new torque converter also. Any suggestions. The light did go off for one day.
