My 88 S10 will run for about 5 min. and die. I have installed an oxygen sensor and air filter. Still no luck. Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad electrical connection. Check the ground connection near the thermostat cover bolts.Clean the connection of wires. Also check for a plugged up Cat.converter.Also change the fuel filter. Good Luck

Check your oil gauge sending unit. We had an intermittent problem. Turns out the sending unit was going bad and shut off the fuel pump. rich

I've tried a new fuel pump, 02 sensor, and fuel filter. took off the cat converter. no luck so far. I do have a temp sensor that is broken. would that have any thing to do w/it. the fuel pump is working fine.
