Just bought 2500HD 2001 GMC from Texas..NICE TRUCK 133K flushed trans,changed filter.. trans shifts mint most of time.. will pull to redline... when I go 30-50 miles from home,AND THE IS HOT, the trans will bang shift from 1-2,then less hard 2-3,3-4 sometimes it doesnt do this..any one else see this?

I have seen this, and the news may be bad. The only time I saw this and fixed it we did a soft part overhaul because all the clutches were glazed. It causes what we call a slide bang shift. Personaly I would live with it. Good Luck
