No reverse 4l80E ken 7-13-06  
Had tranny rebuilt for no reverse had new clutches installed and changed pressure valve in pump still no reverse.could it be a sensor in pan.pulled tranny 2 times from 91 chevy one ton 4x4 it has great forward gears no reverse.

I have a 1996 3500 4X4 with a 4L80E with no reverse, all forward gears are great. What is the fix for the reverse??

I have a 98 GMC K2500 Suburban with a 4L80E and sometimes it takes a full minute to go into reverse. It goes into D instantly. All FWD gears work great, even pulling big trailers and downshifting to go down mountain passes.
