I have a 1986 Winnebago La Sharo. Of course it has the Renault engine and drive train. I have found bits and pieces of people putting other engines and drivetrains in them. There is a company in Montana that will put a Chrysler engine and drivetrain in for 12,000+ I don't have that kind of money, and could get another motorhome for that price. I have heard bits and pieces of others putting GM systems in the LaSharo. Have you heard anything about this and do you have any information I could use to help make a decision on which way to go with this project? If you know of someone who has actually done it that I could talk with for ideas, that would be great too.
