Post New Message It sounds like your tranmission's lock up torque converter is going bad. It may be in the electronics since the converter gets a signal from the computer when the speed reaches the right point. If the speed at which your jerking starts is in the 40-50 range I'd bet on it. Next time it does it try to hold the speed steady and quickly downshift out of overdrive and then shift back up and see if it stops.
