Post New Message I have a 1996 s10.auto(shifting problems)when i put the gear in drive it seems like it is in neutral.but i can put it in 1st gear and it will go and i can put in 2nd also it it will work when i get up to 40 mph i will shift it in d or over drive and speed up but if i slow down aroud 30 mph then it seems like it is in neutral again then i have to switch it down again.please help and email me. my dad put a computer on it and nothing came up and alot of mechanics said it might be somthing elec. also the said it cant be the transmisson because i can swith the gears by the shifter. also the truck is lowered but when i lowered it it was fine. after awile it started to go down hill. i don;t know if that has anything to with it but that is my problem please help thanks
