1992 Aerostar Tranny/Overdrive Problem	Tommy	2-25-06
1992 Ford Aerostar won't shift into overdrive on highway and "glides" or transmission disengages when foot is taken off the gas pedal. Replaced the transmission fluid/filter about 5,000 ago, and now it looks brown again and has that burnt smell. Is it time for a new tranny? Any suggestions? Vehicle only has 147K on the engine, always ran great.

When i drive uphill,dont give me the spped like normal,step on the gas padal, the gar will not go over 40km,something to do with overdrive?
