I recently hit a rock (okay....my husband said small boulder) and it put a hole in the oil pan, broke the wheel and dented the transmission pan. Since then we replaced all of those and went to take it out for a test drive. The car will not shift into second after going about three blocks and then will not shift into reverse either. it just revs up but wont slip in. It did not appear to have sustained any damage from the rock other than the dent in the transmission pan (no whole and not even a big dent but while we were at it we wanted that replaced as well.) cannot figure out what to check next. any help would be great. thanks in advance Tina |
