4L60-E On a cool 30-40 degrees day will shift all gears properly for 1-2 miles, or no more than 3 minutes. At 70 degrees 1/2-1 mile. On a hot day wont even try to shift. If not working perfectly it only has 2nd, 3rd, & reverse. All manually shifted, no up or down shifts. 1 month prior to transmission failure, I changed the blower motor and a week later the starter. I am not sure what if any bearing this has on it except that is all that was done. There is no slippage anywhere.

You have a control problem. take it to a specialist
