Could you please send me or e-mail me some information on the engine conversion that you do, and if you have any pictures that would help to, any information you could give me would be greatly apprecieted. I own a 85 Itasca Phasar that the transmission just went out in, and I'm having a hard time finding out what other Renault transmissions interchange with this vehicle.
I have a customer here in Westland MI that has a 91 Lasharo and the transaxle is junk. Please respond if you have a cheaper suggestion than 5k for a rebuild. The V-6 conversion may not be out of the question.
I have a 1985 phasar, turbo diesel. motor blown, trans really good. body good, no rot, interior good, everything works, roof air, extra fridge, inverter, furnace, stove sink, etc.

We are the company that converts the Phasar and LeSharo to Chrysler V-6 gas / 4 speed auto transaxle power.
See our website for more info: www.lesharo.com. Look under Chrysler Conversion.
Our conversion makes the Winnebago LeSharo motor coach reliable, economical and practical.
We address nearly all of the French Renault problem areas by converting to all US made components such as engine, transmission, drive axles, instrumentation and electrical wiring. This results in a factory fit and finished product that will give many years (and miles) of enjoyable and practical performance. We would be happy to send more info if you are interested.

I have a 1987 lesharo, If I can convert it to a v6 engine, I will keep it till I die. I am not a mechanic bot if I receive some help, like plans for changes, and what engine, ETC. I can convert it myself, I am in central California and have a rust free lesharo with 40K. thanks
I have fitted the 3.3L V-6 chrysler in my 1987 Itasca Phaser. I was wondering how I could get information on how to hook-up the wiring harness to the exsiting wiring. Any help would be greatly appreciated
I would like information on repairs or replacement parts. I am looking at a 1986 Le Sharo that has the gas engine and automatic transmission. I am told that the engine would not start and the the transaxle is bad. I am not very mechanically inclined. Could you give me recomendations on what to do? The vehicle is in pretty good shape and has 41500 miles, the interor is good. Should I replace the engine and transaxle and what is entailed or should I have the engine repaired and the transaxle replaced? If so can you give approximate cost each way.
Thanks
