I have a 2004 bt cruiser by gulfstream
model 5211 chevy, with a 6. LITRE. engine with 32000 km
the transmission has awful hollow sound on take off to second gear i was told by dealer this is normal chevy transmission noise or whine, they had to replace the gears one, and one month later the trnsmission blew a gasket. is this hollow sound normal, or do i have a problem.
I have a driveline clunk when deaccelerating down a hill from 45-50 mph in 3rd and also when backing up a hill or backing a heavy trailer. This is most disconcerning since I have about 10000 mi on a total rebuild and update to the tune of $3500.
Hi, I work in a transmission shop in sacramento and we are having a problem with an 98 izuzu npr that is powered by a late model 5.7 lt and 4L80E. We have rebuilt it and it nuetralizes into 4TH gear and it had this problem when it came in. So if there is info you can give that would be appreciated.
I have a 4L80E in a 93 Chevy C3500 pickup. The trans. seems to slip slightly,it also seems to be surging like its trying to find what gear to select. It has set off the check engine light but it resets when I turn the key off. I am thinking maybe a speed sensor.
