Whe shifting from 2to3 trans slips about 1500-2500 rpm sometimes. 1st time it happend it was low on fluid.not low any more. any advice is welcome. thanks!

Trans will shift from 1 to 2 with no problems, but will not shift into 3rd gear. I've since changed the trans fluid and trans filter, that was about 100 miles ago, still no change (note) when i droped the trans pan there was no shavings,no metal in the pan. I just returned from iraq and was injured so I'm going to have to pay someone to do the work man help me save some money.

Not 100% sure if this will help you pr not, But my gut tells me that it is the 3-4 shift selinoid. You can change this from dropping the pan only. Cost is about 17 dollars. 30-45 minuet repair job. Sorry to hear about injury. Prayers be with you and the family. Dave.
