94 Chevy P/U 4.3L Goes into D and R fine, it just feels like it is stuck in "overdirve". It does not upshift or downshift at all. Feels like it takes off in 4th gear. This started after my starter went out while a friend was driving it. Any help would be great. Thanks.

I have a 96 yukon new trans an it wont down shift when you stop at a light or stop sign ?? no codes thow

My 1998 chevy astro eng check light keeps coming on i replace the 1-2 solenoid but still the same code keeps popping up

Probably shorted out the connection on the right side of the trsns, may be unplugged or caught under the starter housing

Trans complelty reconed new reverse drum trans will run in 4th perfectly for app 35 miles then staras slipping when you take your foot of the gas and then put it back it may catch 4th or revs will just climb please can you help trans been removed 4 times already and now busy for 5th time

Dan, Did you find out what caused this? I have a Tahoe that is stuck in 3rd gear. I can manually shift between 2nd and 3rd only. My problem started after I accidently broke the Thermister on the the thermostat housing while replacing the water pump. Didn't happen immediatly, but two days aferwards. Please email me if you have any update.

What I would like to know,because I can not find a trany diagram for a 1993 jeep,gc...the jeep acts like a vacume controll mod Has the line off....I don't think thats the case,IS IT? it shifts at 30,45 and who knows 65 or so...what do I do????.. sam...
