Hi,
I am putting together plans to do a bus conversion to travel from the north tip of Canada - as far as I can go - to the bottom of South America. I want a transmission that will accomodate mountainous roads as well as good flat terrain. Do you have any advice? I know that manuals usually do better on mountainous roads, or at least something with more gears. Is there a 5 or 7 or more speed auto trains made for a MCI - type bus? Would this be adviseable? What about the idea of putting an overdrive in it for flat land economy?
