What diff would I need for this 5 speed swap?.Ratio, and from which model/year? 5 sp.tranny from '85 3ton GMC 6000. My truck is a '79 1 ton dually. And, pedals seem like they will fit after chopping the floor abit to put linkage thru. Anybody done such a conversion, or am I biting off too much here? Drive shaft too might be wrong also...Help.. Thanks, Ken in Ontario.
