It's a 1992 25' Rexhall Vision on a P30 Chevy Chassis with a 454 TBI and 4L80E OD trans.
It seems to unlock the converter at times when I don't think it should, not on the brakes, not coasting, just on level pavement at 60 MPH.
The Converter will unlock, stay unlocked for 30 seconds or so then lock up again.
It Stays in OD with the converter unlocked, sometimes if you get on the gas enough to make the trans shift into 3rd it will lock the converter and all is well.
I have a 4L80E in my 1997 dually, it acts nothing like the one in the MH. The motor home seems to have alot more converter stall than the dually, but maybe this is normal because of the heavier GVW.
Make sure your brake switch is properly adjusted this can cut off your overdrive. If thats not the problem replace your TCC switch, it's messy but fairly easy.
