I have a 77 ford f150 explorer edition that originally had a 6 cylinder and a heavy duty tranny.i put in a 302 and a c4 tranny and cannot get the transmission linkage to match up. any ideas???

Have you tried your local wrecking yard? I'm sure their has to be a few of these trucks around the same year, that came with a 302 and C-4 trans. with the factory linkage your looking for.
