Error Codes-72, 59 and 89 sherry 4-2-15
1995 Allegro Bay motorhome with Chevy 454 motor, 68,0000 mi. Engine light on with error codes 72- Trans output speed sensor. Code 59- Trans fluid temp circuit high. Code 89- Maximum adaptive long shift.
Does anyone know what these codes mean and is it a serious issue. We haven't had any problems with the transmission.

As a guess: Your wiring harnes is damaged or un-pluged. Probably down at the trans. If I remember right it is supposed to suspended over the trans case and tends to fall down and get damaged.

Speed sensor, easily damaged if the wires get caught on something, but with the over temp code I think broken wire.

The shift code is wierd.

But if you held a gun to my head I would look for a sensor ground broken or disconected
