Transmission Nickpz 9-30-14
I have pulled the trans from my 1990 !/2 chevy bounder. It was full of water because of a broken trans cooler inside my raidiator. I just need to walk in with mine and get a replacement. sounds easy doesn't it. I'll take anybody who is honest enought to not charge extra because a retired guy would enjoy doing the job himself. America use to to look up to guys like Dad who use to take me along to teach me things like this when i was a young man. like my son is now.
Re: Transmission BUBBA THE BUS TECH 9-30-14
You can't do that anymore due to all the electronic junk and how often it changed over the years.

So it will need a soft part overhaul and we hope not a replacment Valve Body. Big Bucks.

With any luck Less than $1500.00 with you doing R&R
Re: Transmission Larry Dunbar 3-14-15
I have a 1090 ranger 2.3engine, auto transmission. In the OD gear, the transmission slips and the truck very slowly moves forward. In the other gear positions the truck accelerates normally.
I changed the fluid and filter; did not change anything. Any idea what is the problem? Larry
