92 gmc 3500 4L80E tranny problem frank stone 4-2-10
This tranny is locked in 2nd or limp mode. does anybody know if there is a problem spot in the harness that may be doing this I know the trannys good and it is going in and out of limp mode. everytime i get a scanner on it would run fine with maybe a output speed sensor code but ive replaced it. next is the ecm.

Don't replace thge ECM, they do fail but it is rare.
Just keep watching it. The speed sensor code is a good clue to limp in mode.
The trans will only go to limp in if the trans wiring conector is disconected or there is a problem that the computer has picked up on.
Good Luck
